Devil’s Lake State Park

Maybe the most well-known state park in Wisconsin — Devil’s Lake State Park is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Madison. Located in the heart of the Driftless Area, Devil’s Lake State Park has a beautiful glacial lake surrounded by 500-foot cliffs at its center, creating beautiful memories no matter where you turn. This state park has more than 400 campsites throughout, in grass and woodland areas, with many including electric and water connections.

Peninsula State Park

If you live in the Green Bay area, Peninsula State Park in Door County may be the perfect place for a weekend getaway this summer. The park has five distinct campgrounds and more than 460 campsites, including winter campsites with available electric connections. Highlight attractions at Peninsula State Park include miles and miles of trails, paved paths, a lighthouse, multiple playgrounds, a boat launch, an observation tower, and even a golf course.

Copper Falls State Park

We know you will fall in love with the beautiful waterfalls and rock formations at Copper Falls State Park. This beautiful location has two campgrounds with more than 50 campsites that include electric and non-electric sites. With available winter campsites, this state park is fun for campers all year long. This state park features the 40-foot Brownstone Falls and the beautiful Devil’s Gate rock formation.

Willow River State Park

Located East of the Wisconsin-Minnesota border near Hudson, Willow River State Park is an incredible destination for families that love weekend camping trips. This 2,800-acre state park features miles of hiking and biking trails, fishing, swimming, and more. Willow River State Park has 150 campsites in three distinct campgrounds with many that have access to electric and water connections and provide space for camping trailers. Nearby toilets and showers are convenient in many campgrounds here. 

Wyalusing State Park  

Wyalusing State Park has a little bit of everything for everyone. Located on the bluffs where the Wisconsin River meets the Mississippi River, you will enjoy incredible views of these Wisconsin waterways. Boaters and fishermen will enjoy time spent on the rivers and families will enjoy the miles of picturesque trails. Multiple campgrounds provide hundreds of campsites with electric and water hookups that feature beautiful and convenient locations.
